SMS Program
Hospital discharge education via SMS. Last updated: May 3, 2026.
Program overview
Framewise Health, Inc. operates an SMS messaging program for patients enrolled by sponsoring partner hospitals as part of their hospital discharge education. This page describes how the program works, how patients enroll, how patients opt out, and the full program terms.
What patients receive
Recurring discharge-anchored education reminders during the 30 days following hospital discharge. Each message links to a short personalized educational video covering the patient's discharge instructions, recovery milestones, or follow-up care, plus brief follow-up questions so the care team knows the patient is on track.
Frequency
Up to 14 messages per 30-day post-discharge enrollment period. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Framewise Health does not charge patients for these messages.
How patients enroll
Patients (or their authorized caregivers) sign a written consent form during hospital intake or discharge planning at the sponsoring partner hospital. Clinical staff captures and stores the signed paper consent. Patients are not enrolled without explicit written authorization.
Consent is not a condition of treatment or care at the sponsoring partner hospital. Patients may decline SMS enrollment without affecting the care they receive.
How patients opt out
Patients may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message sent to 1-833-449-2833. Opt-out is processed by our messaging provider via mobile carrier routing. Patients may also email contact@framewisehealth.com to request removal.
How patients get help
Patients may reply HELP to any message sent to 1-833-449-2833 for support information, or email contact@framewisehealth.com.
Carrier disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No sale of phone numbers or opt-in data
Mobile opt-in data, consent records, and patient phone numbers will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose, including marketing or promotional purposes.
PHI handling
This website does not collect Protected Health Information (PHI). The SMS program operates within our clinical platform, where PHI is processed under a Business Associate Agreement with the sponsoring partner hospital.
